- SWEEPSTAKES TIMING: Pilgrim’s Pro Snacker Giveaway Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 6, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 27, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
- ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation (“Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (“Administrator”), their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors and advertising or promotional agencies, or any other entities engaged in the development, distribution, implementation or administration of the Sweepstakes, including third party fulfillment agencies (collectively with the Sponsor and Administrator, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, members, assigns and agents and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) regardless of where they live, and/or those living in the same household of each (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws of the United States. Sponsor and/or Administrator reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.
- HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, as follows:
- Via TikTok: At the start of the Sweepstakes Period, look for posts made by Pilgrim’s on their official TikTok account @pilgrimschicken and by Tony Hawk on his TikTok account @tonyhawk in relation to the Sweepstakes (“Post”). Once you see the Post, follow the instructions outlined to create and post a video on TikTok that is a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds that shows off your best pro snacker nugget trick. In the caption, you must include the hashtag #pilgrimsprosnackergiveaway (“TikTok Entry”). In order to enter the Sweepstakes on TikTok, you must follow @pilgrimschicken and you must also have a TikTok account and have your account settings set to public and not private; i.e., entries must be visible in public hashtag searches from time of entry through time of winner verification. If you do not have a TikTok account, and you would like to create one for free, download the free TikTok app to your mobile device at either the Apple® App Store or the Google® Play store. All terms and conditions of TikTok apply.
- Via Instagram: At the start of the Sweepstakes Period, look for the post made by Pilgrim’s on their official Instagram account @pilgrimschickenusa and by Tony Hawk on his Instagram page @tonyhawk in relation to the Sweepstakes (“Post”). Once you see the Post, follow the instructions outlined to create and post a video on Instagram that is a minimum of 10 seconds and a maximum of 30 seconds that shows off your best pro snacker nugget trick. In the caption you must include the hashtag #pilgrimsprosnackergiveaway (“Instagram Entry”). In order to enter the Sweepstakes on Instagram, you must follow @pilgrimschickenusa and you must also have an Instagram account and have your account settings set to public and not private; i.e., entries must be visible in public hashtag searches from time of entry through time of winner verification. If you do not have a Instagram account, and you would like to create one for free, download the free Instagram app to your mobile device at either the Apple® App Store or the Google® Play store. All terms and conditions of Instagram apply.
TikTok Entries and Instagram Entries will be collectively referred to as “Entries”. Entries that do not meet the requirements set forth in these Official Rules will be disqualified. Purchase and/or consumption of nuggets is not required. Entries will not be judged but must adhere to the Entry Guidelines indicated below, as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion. All Entries must be completed and submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on May 27, 2025. Limit one (1) Entry per person per social media platform [for a maximum limit of two (2) Entries per person] throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Use of computer programs, robotic, repetitive, programmed, or other automatic means (including, but not limited to, sweepstakes or contest entry services) to enter the Sweepstakes, regardless of method of submission, is prohibited and any use of such automated devices will cause disqualification. Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain additional Entries by using multiple/different social media accounts, email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void such Entries and that Entrant will be disqualified. Normal data/Internet access and data/usage charges imposed by Entrant’s online/phone service may apply and are Entrants’ sole responsibility. In the event of a dispute as to any Entry, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with Entrant’s Instagram/TikTok account used to enter will be deemed the Entrant. The “authorized account holder of the email address” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization, (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder associated with the Entry.
Entry Guidelines: All Entries must adhere to the following Entry Guidelines and these Official Rules of the Sweepstakes. Any Entry that does not adhere to these Entry Guidelines or the requirements set forth in these Official Rules is subject to disqualification from the Sweepstakes:
- All Entries must be in English and must comply with these Official Rules and the registration instructions, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be eligible.
- Entry must not contain any third-party materials, other than Sponsor-related materials, or otherwise violate or infringe (or may infringe) any copyright, trademark, logo, or mark that identifies a brand (other than Sponsor’s), or other proprietary right of any person living or deceased (including but not limited to rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) or entity or make reference to any commercial/corporate advertising (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, charities, slogans, political, or religious statements), or be otherwise objectionable.
- Entry must not include any mention of celebrities, athletes, musicians, or any other public or private figure, including any anti-social, political, or religious groups, any commercial solicitation or promotional materials, or name, address, phone number, or URL address, with the exception of Tony Hawk. Entry must not contain advertisements, personal solicitations, or commercial solicitations.
- Entrants and all submitted Entries must be in keeping with Sponsor’s image, as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, or Entry will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes.
- Entry cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Entities, or their respective products and services, or other people, products or companies.
- Entry must not contain content that is false, inaccurate or misleading.
- Entry must not include references to any activity that Sponsor deems to be, in their sole discretion, lewd or indecent.
- Entrants and all submitted Entries may not reference any of Pilgrim’s competitors.
- RANDOM DRAWING: The potential winning Entries will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 28, 2025 from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent judging agency whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the drawing. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
- PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): One (1) Grand Prize: a skateboard deck autographed by Tony Hawk and one (1) year’s supply of Pilgrim’s Nuggets. The total ARV for the Grand Prize is $145.88. Specific Pilgrim’s Nuggets are at Sponsor’s discretion. Nine (9) First Prize winners will each receive one (1) skateboard deck autographed by Tony Hawk (ARV $50 each).
Winners are responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. No cash alternative or prize substitution will be allowed, except in Sponsor’s discretion. In the event any prize is unavailable for any reason beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right to offer a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. No responsibility or liability is assumed for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize.
- WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified via Direct Message on TikTok or Instagram, as applicable, and must respond with the required information within the deadline provided by Sponsor or potential prize winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected. Potential winners will then be contacted via email and must also complete an eligibility verification/prize acceptance form that must be returned within three (3) days (including weekends) of notification attempt or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner (as applicable) may be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. Winners will be sent their prizes within 6-8 weeks after winner verification. Sponsor will make up to three (3) attempts to award the prizes at which point any unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. The potential winning Entrants are subject to verification by Sponsor/Administrator, whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection and confirmation of the potential winners is final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and those authorized by it to use the winning Entrants’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now known or otherwise developed without further compensation or review, including a winners list, unless prohibited by law.
- GENERAL RULES: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. By participating, Entrants and winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, TikTok, and Instagram from and against any claims, damages, or liability due to any damages, or losses or injuries to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree not to pursue any right, claim or action against the Sweepstakes Entities in connection with their participation in this Sweepstakes. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements (in any and all media/medium) contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Entries become the property of the Sponsor. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for late or misdirected Entries, technical, hardware, software or telephone incompatibility or malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the software, products, equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of (or failure to process) the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in connection with the Sweepstakes. Proof of submission of Entry does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information, or eligibility for the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor is not responsible for the failure of any social media platform or Entry to be received by the Sponsor for any reason. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; is suspected of cheating, fraud, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any Entrant who uses or is suspected of using cheating, fraudulent means, unauthorized entry methods, or otherwise attempts to participate multiple times, or with multiple identities, social media accounts, e-mail and/or addresses will be disqualified. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes and select the winning Entries in a random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect Entries received prior to such action. By entering the Sweepstakes, you hereby represent and warrant that you have read these Official Rules and are fully familiar with its contents and agree to be bound thereto.
- GOVERNING LAW & VENUE: Except to the extent pre-empted by federal or other applicable state law, the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions thereof. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between Entrant and Sponsor, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes (including the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules) or the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Colorado, having competent jurisdiction, which court shall apply the laws of the State of Colorado without giving effect to any conflict of law provisions thereof, and the parties consent to jurisdiction therein with respect to any legal proceedings or disputes of whatever nature arising under or relating to these Official Rules. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred and associated with entering the Sweepstakes, and shall not include any punitive, consequential or other damages, or attorneys’ fees. The value of the prizes as set forth above represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of the ARV in its sole and absolute discretion thereof and such determinations are final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the prizes turns out to be less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded in cash. Under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All dispute resolution shall be made by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
- SEVERABILITY: The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the Sponsor’s fundamental intentions hereunder, and the remaining provisions of these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein, provided, however, that in such cases the parties oblige themselves to use their best efforts to achieve the purpose of the invalid provision by a new legally valid stipulation.
- PRIVACY POLICY: Any personally identifiable information collected during your participation in this Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor and used by it and its agents for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules, for any additional opt-in information you agreed to upon participation, and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, posted at https://www.pilgrimsusa.com/privacy-policy/ and as allowed by law. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to and accept that privacy policy. Entrants may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails and reminders for upcoming promotions and information about Sponsor. If Entrant consents and opts in, Sponsor may provide Entrant with information relating to products, services and promotions of the Sponsor and affiliates of Sponsor. Consenting to receive such emails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. Entrants may opt-out of receiving such emails at any time.
